Comments: (Nee: ) | | 1851-1900 | Comments: I do not know who this guy is. Any help would be Greatly appreciated. You may contact me at I think these two guys look very much a like. Any ideas on who these two were? My best guess is it could be Obediah Beard or Beird, or Baird, or the list could go on with the various spell'gs. One family story is there was a sharp shooter in the family. Is this him? Fact: My grandmother, Florence L. Dickens' mother was Elizabeth Annie Beird, or Annie Elizabeth Beird/Beard who married E. E. Dickens ( Florence's father). This soldier would have been the right age to be Annie's father. Is this Civil War Soldier Annie's father, Obediah Allen Beard? I sure could use some proof, on who her father was, and who these two guys are. My Dickens branch settled in Wisconsin mid 1832 from New York. Annie was born in 1858 in Wisconsin that I know of so far. Thank You, Christina
