Dead Fred's Genealogy Photo Archive, a free, fun photo genealogy research web site devoted to helping you visualize your heritage!

Dear readers,

Please help us keep DeadFred alive. 90% of our expenses are supported by donations averaging $5. Not many visitors contribute. If each visitor reading this right now gave $2, our fundraiser would be done by the time you finish reading this. That's right, the price of a large can of soda would do it.

If DeadFred is helpful to you, please take a moment to help us. We are a very small group of volunteers serving thousands of readers daily with very little outside support. DeadFred is a place to share and discover the faces of your ancestors. The funds we receive go toward maintaining and improving your chances of discovery. Please help us so we can continue to help you.

Thank you,
Joe Bott

Comments: (Nee: N/A) | United States | 1851-1900 | Comments: This photo was found in a box of photos, mostly from my father's side of the family. Only clue is the word "Grandma" on the back. Most likely surnames could be Hoover/Hover, Poole, Jenkins, Whitely or Hallett. These families lived in the Tompkins County/Chemung County area of New York State. There was a Bradford C. Hallett in the family who died in the Confederate Salisbury Prison, NC, but we have no other photos of him to compare with it. I would not part with the original but would be happy to share digital image with relative of the subject.
