Dead Fred's Genealogy Photo Archive, a free, fun photo genealogy research web site devoted to helping you visualize your heritage!

Dear readers,

Please help us keep DeadFred alive. 90% of our expenses are supported by donations averaging $5. Not many visitors contribute. If each visitor reading this right now gave $2, our fundraiser would be done by the time you finish reading this. That's right, the price of a large can of soda would do it.

If DeadFred is helpful to you, please take a moment to help us. We are a very small group of volunteers serving thousands of readers daily with very little outside support. DeadFred is a place to share and discover the faces of your ancestors. The funds we receive go toward maintaining and improving your chances of discovery. Please help us so we can continue to help you.

Thank you,
Joe Bott

Rome/Plainville area. This is my great great grandmother. I am searching for her birth place and her sisters Martha and Delilah, parents names, births, deaths anything about her before she was married to George Washington Gravitt in 1881. She was born in 1852, has been said to have came to U.S. on a ship from Holland around age 3 or 4, but records I have found state she was born in GA, U.S. It is as if she wasn't here until she married her husband.
