Comments: Wilmer Abram Vaughn (Nee: ) | West Peru ME | 1941-1960 | Comments: Wilmer Abram Vaughn was born in 1913 Rumford Maine to Reuben Vaughn and Lavinia(Vinnie) Maloon. He served in WWII in US Army Air Corp. This picture was taken in 1944 shortly after he was drafted. It may have been taken in North Carolina where he did his training. He served in France with a glider unit. With the exception of his military career, he lived all of his life in West Peru, ME and environs. He married Florence Whitehouse in 1937 and they had 2 children. After their divorce he married Juliette Fisher. They had no children. He died in West Peru in 1985
