Comments: James Price Stoneman (Nee: ) | Carrollton OH United States | 1851-1900 | Comments: James Price Stoneman was born about 1824, He was a coal miner by trade before the Civil War and a teamster when he returned, which was his trade until his death March 9, 1888 of pneumonia. He was married twice. Rebbecca Burchfield , who he married 1846. She bore him four sons and two daughters. While he was serving with the Ohio Co 32 Inf. from 31 Aug 1861 to 20 July 1865,' Becky ' died. On his return he married Jane Ann Champer, who bore him four daughters, Prisilla Bella(Mellon, McLaughlin), Anna Dora(Dewell), Emma Jane(Reich), and Mary. He was laid to rest at Grandview Cemetery Carrollton, OH.
