April 1818 in Barmen, gestorben 5.April 1905, wahrscheinlich in Köln. Sie war verheiratet mit Eduard Ferdinand Jonghaus, geb. 6. Januar 1807 in Elberfeld, gestorben am 16. Mai 1873. Sie hatten 10 Kinder, von denen momentan nur 2 Söhne und 2 Töchter bekannt sind: Hermann und Helene Jonghaus, die nach England auswanderten, und Wilhelm Eduard und Auguste Emilie Jonghaus. Die Nachkommen Hermanns nahmen den Namen ''Younghouse'' an. Helene heiratete John Robins aus Mile End. Die Eltern von Louise waren Johann Ferdinand von Gahlen, Apotheker in Gemarke (1789-1862, Foto #37283) und Anna Christine Juliane Sophia Schwerdtmann, gest. 1822. Johann Ferdinand von Gahlen war mindestens drei Mal verheiratet. Louises Grossvater, Johann Caspar von Gahlen, war ebenfalls Apotheker. Er war verheiratet mit Maria Wilhelmina Kluge. Ein Halbbruder von Louse war Emil von Gahlen, der 1840 in Gerresheim eine Drahtstiftfabrik gründete (Foto #73545). Die Familie was evangelisch-reformiert. Weitere Informationen über die Familien von Gahlen und Jonghaus werden gesucht. Louise Jonghaus, nee von Gahlen. Born April 01, 1818 in Barmen, died April 1905, probably in Köln (Cologne). She married Eduard Ferdinand Jonghaus, born January 6, 1807 in Elberfeld. He died May 16, 1873. They had 10 children. Presently we only know about 2 sons and 2 daughters: Hermann and Helene Jonghaus, who emigrated to England, and Wilhelm Eduard and Auguste Emilie Jonghaus. Hermann's descendants changed their name into ''Younghouse''. Helene married John Robins from Mile End. Louise's parents were Johann Ferdinand von Gahlen, apothecary in Gemarke (1789-1862, Photo #37283) and Anna Christine Juliane Sophia Schwerdtmann, she died in 1822. Johann Ferdinand von Gahlen married at least three times. Louise's grandfather, Johann Caspar von Gahlen, was an apothecary, too. He married Maria Wilhelmina Kluge. Emil von Gahlen, who established a factory for small thin nails (''Drahtstife'') in Gerresheim in 1840, was Louise's half-brother (photo #73545). The family was protestant (''reformed''). Looking for further information about the von Gahlen and Jonghaus families.
