Comments: Andrew Jackson Howard (Nee: ) | Anacoco LA United States | | Comments: Wedding photo of Andrew Jackson Howard, who was born in Florida, served as a carpenter in Wakulla Co., enlisted in Civil War, and was captured by the Northern Armies, and kept prisoner on "Ship Island" off the coast of Mississippi until the end of the war, (1865) He migrated with his family to Anacoco, Vernon Parish, Louisiana, where he is found on 1880 Census, and died there 1881, buried in Castor Cemetery.
