Dead Fred's Genealogy Photo Archive, a free, fun photo genealogy research web site devoted to helping you visualize your heritage!

Dear readers,

We need your help. 90% of our expenses are covered by donations averaging $10, though not many visitors contribute. If each visitor reading this right now gave $2, we would have enough to operate DeadFred for a year. That's right, the price of a bottle of soda would do it. If DeadFred is helpful to you, please take a moment to help us. We are a very small group of volunteers serving thousands of readers daily with very little outside support. DeadFred is a place to share and discover the faces of your ancestors. The funds we receive go toward maintaining and improving your chances of discovery. Please help us so we can continue to help you.

Thank you,
Joe Bott

Comments: (Nee: PAULINE SCHOLZ) | NE United States | 1901-1920 | Comments: WHO IS THE LITTLE GIRL? This photo was sent by Pauline Scholz (married Tingelhoff) about 1910 to her family in Silesia/Germany; according to the (lost)letter, our family thought the girl to be Pauline's daughter ELEANOR. Pauline, who emmigrated from Germany in 1905 lost contact to her German family about 1935; through family researches since 2002 her traces were found .She died in 1967 and is buried ,together with husband Frank Tingelhoff, at Wyuka Cemetery, Lincoln, Lancaster County,NE; but the traces of the child are lost. What happened to her? Who knows the girl on this photo? There is a great resemblance to living family members, therefore we believe she must be related...
