She was born in Iaeger, WV in 1921; died in Tampa, FL in 1988. Connie had this portrait made for her husband Frank when he went overseas in WWII. She was 22 years old and was wearing a locket bearing the photos of infant me and Frank in his flight gear. She was a jazz band singer, political activist and artist. She brought light and joy wherever she went.
