Dead Fred's Genealogy Photo Archive, a free, fun photo genealogy research web site devoted to helping you visualize your heritage!

Dear readers,

We need your help. 90% of our expenses are covered by donations averaging $10, though not many visitors contribute. If each visitor reading this right now gave $2, we would have enough to operate DeadFred for a year. That's right, the price of a bottle of soda would do it. If DeadFred is helpful to you, please take a moment to help us. We are a very small group of volunteers serving thousands of readers daily with very little outside support. DeadFred is a place to share and discover the faces of your ancestors. The funds we receive go toward maintaining and improving your chances of discovery. Please help us so we can continue to help you.

Thank you,
Joe Bott

I am told that some family stayed in Germany- they lived near Eboldshausen, not far from Hanover & one of the family that came to the US was a godparent to a child in Germany. this may have been "Charlie" Carl Renziehausen 1825-1899 or his brother Ludwig "Louis" Renziehausen 1818-1897. In the US both of these brothers lived in Allamakee or Clayton county, Iowa
