Comments: Exine Elizabeth Addison (Nee: ) | Winfield AL United States | 1921-1940 | Comments: I have an old postcard photograph of Ernestine and Exine ADDISON which was likely taken in the 1920's. The two girls appear to be about 2-4 years old at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding the girls and their family: Mary Ernestine A. ADDISON was b. 16 Mar 1918 in Winfield, AL to parents Monroe Deason ADDISON (1894-1988) and Mary Lestie SNOW (1898-1996). Ernestine had only one sibling, a sister Exine or Eline Elizabeth ADDISON (1920-2009). Ernestine married Claude Augustus GHOLSTON Jr. (1914-1993) 2 Aug 1941 in Alabama City, AL and they had a son. Ernestine died 7 Feb 2002 and is buried in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Jasper, AL. Her sister Exine Elizabeth ADDISON was b. 7 Nov 1920 in Winfield, AL to the same parents and she married Horton or Hunter Edward ROEDER in 1947 (divorced in 1973). The couple had two children including Teresa Ann ROEDER and James Alan ROEDER. Exine died 24 Jun 2009 in Tuscaloosa, AL and her obituary lists her surviving family members including her daughter Teresa R. CARTER of Northport, AL; her son James A. ROEDER of Kathleen, GA; and her many grandchildren. Exine was buried in Jasper, AL. I am hoping to get the photograph to family and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be. Thanks, Shelley
