The photo says - Grace and Juanita, left, were half sisters born to Minnie Lauderdale Fletcher Levi, a local lady who married a Yankee soldier and latera a Confederate veteran; by each she had children. Juanita, a leader in the United Daughters of the Confederacy, shared a house with one half-sister, Ella; she introduced her as "My Yankee sister."
