Fred emigrated in the 1870’s. Fred was a burgess, a justice of the peace, a postmaster, a Methodist evangelist and a tax collector. He married Susanna Link, daughter of Johann Georg Link and Elisabetha Fischer. After Susanna’s death, he married Marguerite Stephens of Newark NJ 8 Oct 1913. Friedrich d 20 Feb 1923 of pneumonia, Newark NJ and is buried in Beaver Cemetery.
