Comments: Martha Heurtin (Nee: ) | Vertou France | 1901-1920 | Comments: This picture of siblings Stanislas, Marie and Martha Heurtin appears on page 147 of The American Breeders Magazine, vol.II, no.2, 1911. There is a better description of the family on pages 147-148 of that volume. Please see that reference for more details. The Heurtin family was from Vertou, France. Stanislas Aristide Heurtin was a Breton tun maker, he married his second cousin in 1884. They had nine children: Marie, born 1885 (blind-deaf), Lucien, born 1887 (died in infancy), Eugenie, born 1887 (blind), Elisa, born 1891, Adelaide, born 1894, Stanislas, born 1896 (deaf), Germaine, born 1899, Marthe, born 1902 (blind-deaf), and Germaine Andre, born 1906 (blind-deaf, paralyzed). That is all the information I have on this picture. I am not researching this line, just saw the photo and thought I'd post it.
