Mr. Orr was a prominent Canadian horticulturist interested mainly in fruit. He was an accomplished vineyardist and orchardist. He settled down on a farm in the Niagara Peninsula region, at a place called "Fruitland." He was one of the directors of the Fruit Growers' Association of Ontario.
