Monroe, Geneva, New York, 1912. see that title for more information. William Eaton Sill was born in Utica, NY, 14 October 1806. He was the son of Elisha Sill and Susan Hopkins Sill. They moved to Geneva in 1817. William's first wife was daughter of his uncle, Honorable Samuel Miles Hopkins. His second wife was daughter of Judge Sutherland. William E. Sill was once the president of the Geneva National Bank. Upon retirement he resumed the practice of law.
