LT. JAMES T. WILLIS, USMC; James was stationed at Camp Lejeune, New River, N.C. He enlisted in January of 1942. He trained at the San Diego marine base and later served as a rifle instructor. He attended OCS at Quantico, VA, and was commissioned a Lt. on March 11, 1943.
Prior to his enlistment he was employed by the Bethleem Steel Company in the New Mexico oil fields. He was a graduate of Anadarko High School and attended Oklahoma A&M.
