He was born in 1896 in Rice Lake, WI, the son of James William Pearl Olds and Julia Anderson. He married Lillie Elizabeth Howden in 1914. They were the parents of 5 children. The baby is child number four--Lester James Olds. He was born Sept 22 1922 in Fort Yates, ND. Both men died very young. Roy was not yet 30 when he died in 1926 of pneumonia. Les died in 1959 a little over 36 years of an accidental electrocution
