Her father-in-law, Ancel Earp helped her chose the dress. She said it was the best dress she had ever owned. My father, Ancel Jr., gave her the pearls as a wedding gift. My daughter now has them. Mother was born in Boise City, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Homer Lee and Jessie D. Mackey Johnson. Mother was born on March 9, 1921 and died in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on January 27, 1999.
