Comments: Asa Morrison Barney (Nee: Prescott) | | 1851-1900 | Comments: I found this image for sale on ebay. The description says: An absolutely beautiful sixth plate daguerreotype of a an identified couple in a full case. There is a slip of paper pinned to the case identifying the couple as "Asa Morrison Barney & Wife (Polly Angeline Prescott) Grandma Smith's Brother". The daguerreotype retains its seal. It is in really nice condition showing a very solemn couple holding hands and staring bravely at the camera as though they were posing for a Grant Wood painting. They were married abt. 1850, Asa Morrison Barney was born 12-4-1830.
