Dead Fred's Genealogy Photo Archive, a free, fun photo genealogy research web site devoted to helping you visualize your heritage!

Dear readers,

Please help us keep DeadFred alive. 90% of our expenses are supported by donations averaging $5. Not many visitors contribute. If each visitor reading this right now gave $2, our fundraiser would be done by the time you finish reading this. That's right, the price of a large can of soda would do it.

If DeadFred is helpful to you, please take a moment to help us. We are a very small group of volunteers serving thousands of readers daily with very little outside support. DeadFred is a place to share and discover the faces of your ancestors. The funds we receive go toward maintaining and improving your chances of discovery. Please help us so we can continue to help you.

Thank you,
Joe Bott

Comments: Bill (Nee: ) | | 1941-1960 | Comments: PARASICH - Written on front is "Bill, Charles, Dick." Could be Bill Reed (identified in another photo), and Dick could be the D. Petrosky in another photo from this group of Army photos. One of a group of photos purchased at an auction. Some have names, but most do not. Judging from WWII-era envelopes which were also in with the photos, this lot belonged to a Charles Parasich, who later married a Louise Pateska. Other photos are of his Army buddies (he was stationed at Fort McClellan circa 1944), and possibly at other military bases during his time in the service. Not all of the photos are being posted; if you recognize any of these people, please contact me since there may be others of the same subject(s).
