Comments: Charlotte Curtis (Nee: Alvord) | UT | 1851-1900 | Comments: Charlotte Alvord was born in 1815 near Lockport NY the daughter of Thaddeus Alvord and Sarah Wellington. She Married Lyman Curtis in 1834. They had 9 children. He was gone on a journey much longer than anticipated and she thought he was dead and she married Peter Mack Elliot in 1857 and they had two children. When her first husband came home she divorced Elliot and went back to Lyman Curtis. She crossed the plains to Utah in 1849. Her husband Lyman, was with Brigham Young in the trek of 1847. Charlotte died in 1879 in Salt Lake City Utah
