Dead Fred's Genealogy Photo Archive, a free, fun photo genealogy research web site devoted to helping you visualize your heritage!

Dear readers,

We need your help. 90% of our expenses are covered by donations averaging $10, though not many visitors contribute. If each visitor reading this right now gave $2, we would have enough to operate DeadFred for a year. That's right, the price of a bottle of soda would do it. If DeadFred is helpful to you, please take a moment to help us. We are a very small group of volunteers serving thousands of readers daily with very little outside support. DeadFred is a place to share and discover the faces of your ancestors. The funds we receive go toward maintaining and improving your chances of discovery. Please help us so we can continue to help you.

Thank you,
Joe Bott

Comments: Bert Franklin Jones (Nee: Jones) | Leavensworth Kansas U.S.A | 1901-1920 | Comments: This is a pic of my grandpa Jones when he was 19 in 1905 and also in 1928. Frist pic was shot of him in prison. He did not turn a team of mules and a plow in to the U.S Gov while trying to homestead his native land they arrested him and put him in prison. The second shot is of him in prison again. This time for breaking the volestead act making home brew during the depression. This was right after my grandmother his wife Myrtle Sears Jones died in 1928.
