Attended the Univeristy of Alabama. Married twice, first to Mary V. Starnes (1814-1865, 13 children) 2nd. to Margarett M. Griffin (1846-1930, 8 children). Maggie Griffin appears in the picture with him. I think it was made around 1880. Maggie's parents were William Griffin and Levina Broom.
