Comments: Soren Kristian Madsen (Nee: Madsen) | Denmark | 1901-1920 | Comments: These are the children of Soren Kristian called 'Chris' Madsen and his two wives; Mathilde Elisabeth Stald and Ane Kirstine Pajbjerg. Mathilde's are the older grown children: boy at back is Manfred Osvald Madsen b. 1896 married Anne Pedersen and had Ellen and Inger, next to him is Marie Jorgine Madsen b.1888 she never married, Seated in front are Mette Kamille Madsen b.1886 she married Peder Hansen Schmidt and had Hans Peder and Marnelise Mathilde, (left) and Signe Marie Margrethe Madsen b. 1894 who married Jens Peter Christiansen Lyhne and had Elizabeth & Hans Christian & Henning & Anne Kirsten(right). The baby girl center is by wife Ane; Mathilde Elisabeth Madsen b. 1913 (named after his first wife who died in childbed with a 5th child that did not survive.) she married Carl Brink and had Kirsten & Ruth & Henrik & Paul Christian. There was one more child, not pictured here, born to Chris and Ane Madsen, a girl named Thyra Madsen b. 1916 and she married Hans Christophersen and had Gudrun & Jorgen & Knud & Annelise & Hanne. This was taken somewhere in Ribe County, Denmark about 1915. The original was donated by Kristian Hennelund to Pat Calderwood in CA after the publication of his book. He donated a negative to the Madsen Family Archives as well.
