Dead Fred's Genealogy Photo Archive, a free, fun photo genealogy research web site devoted to helping you visualize your heritage!

Dear readers,

Please help us keep DeadFred alive. 90% of our expenses are supported by donations averaging $5. Not many visitors contribute. If each visitor reading this right now gave $2, our fundraiser would be done by the time you finish reading this. That's right, the price of a large can of soda would do it.

If DeadFred is helpful to you, please take a moment to help us. We are a very small group of volunteers serving thousands of readers daily with very little outside support. DeadFred is a place to share and discover the faces of your ancestors. The funds we receive go toward maintaining and improving your chances of discovery. Please help us so we can continue to help you.

Thank you,
Joe Bott

Comments: Emerson and Emery Price (Nee: ) | Elsie MI United States | 1901-1920 | Comments: Text written on back of photo: "Emerson Dale Price 2 years old Emery Gale Price 8 mos old." (addressed to: "Mr. & Mrs. Fred Baese.") This is one of 3 antique photo postcards 1880-1930 that I found in a box at a flea market in Sebastopol, California with handwritten genealogy details on the back. All 3 cards mention the Baese family so was probably owned by that family and one postcard indicates they resided in Eureka, California, while another makes me think the Baeses came from the region of Clinton, Michigan. Family identification: Thanks to help of another genealogist I have found the following Price family found in Elsie, Clinton County, Michigan records: Father: Harry C. PRICE Mother: Pearl A. BAESE (born 31 OCT 1888, buried Riverside Cemetery, Elsie, Clinton, MI) Children: 1 -Emery PRICE (died 30 JUL 1972) 2 -Emerson D. PRICE (born 9 NOV 1911 died 2 NOV 1935, buried Riverside Cemetery, Elsie, Clinton MI) 3 -William M. PRICE contributed by the webmaster of http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~rowley1/
