8/28/2005 John Le Barre writes **It was located on the east side of the village and was burned in 1972. It was owned from at least the mid 1920's to at least the mid 1940's maybe later by a David Funk. The name was changed by the mid 60's to the Friendship Manor. I have a photo listing a few of the employees there. The bellhop was a Chas. McDonald, the cook was Mrs. Kelemen, a maid was Helen Swartz, and the family members known were David Funk, Serene Funk and Dan Funk who was 15 in 1926. The flower garden and fountain still exsist to this day. It is now a day use park owned by the State of New York and the lake is used for water for snow making for Belaire ski area.**///
