Got this in a batch of labelled tintypes from a Craigslist seller in Silver Spring, MD, who in turn says that he got the photos from a larger lot at an estate sale in Virginia. The pictures are labelled on the back with medical tape and blue pen (I have pictures of the back, as well). Whomever labelled the pictures was clearly interested with how these people related to descendant Gladys L White. For more pictures, see Thomas Finley Armstrong on free www.familysearch.org. My hope is to eventually reunite these tintypes with an interested relative.
I have not uploaded this particular photo labelled Margaret Elizabeth Armstrong to Family Search because the middle name listed in the caption doesn't match with the records. I'm not yet sure if the person writing the caption was just wrong about the middle name or if there is a different wife. More research is needed.
