Comments: Anna Peters (Nee: Peters) | Portage Wi | | Comments: Anna Peters was born on the ocean when her parents were coming from Germany. This was in January of 1855. Her father August Heinrich Peters died on the same voyage and was buried at sea. Her mother Magdelena (Koopman)Peters remarried to a Reinger. They lived in Erie,Pa. where Anna married John Arn. They later moved to Portage, Ws. John died about 1893. Anna lived until about 1933. They had several children including my grandmother Clara (Arn) Gifford.
