Dead Fred's Genealogy Photo Archive, a free, fun photo genealogy research web site devoted to helping you visualize your heritage!

Dear readers,

Please help us keep DeadFred alive. 90% of our expenses are supported by donations averaging $5. Not many visitors contribute. If each visitor reading this right now gave $2, our fundraiser would be done by the time you finish reading this. That's right, the price of a large can of soda would do it.

If DeadFred is helpful to you, please take a moment to help us. We are a very small group of volunteers serving thousands of readers daily with very little outside support. DeadFred is a place to share and discover the faces of your ancestors. The funds we receive go toward maintaining and improving your chances of discovery. Please help us so we can continue to help you.

Thank you,
Joe Bott

Comments: Catherine Maxwell (Nee: ) | | 1851-1900 | Comments: So, I did some research on this photo for class, using the only information that I had about it, which was written on the back. It says, "For Aunt Christina" "Catherine Maxwell, Taken Nov 6th, 1888" Using, I searched the database for her name, United states,Utah, between 1860 and 1900. The most promising record that I found was a marriage certificate between John A R Marchant and Catherine Maxwell in 1889. The certificate is on microfilm at the SLC family history center, and I felt like there might be some information about her parents on the record. That way, you could search for an "Aunt Christina". If interested, the GS film # is 430301,digital folder# is 004540805, and the image # is 00418. I hope that this post was helpful to someone looking for an ancestor! Good luck.
