Dead Fred's Genealogy Photo Archive, a free, fun photo genealogy research web site devoted to helping you visualize your heritage!

Dear readers,

Please help us keep DeadFred alive. 90% of our expenses are supported by donations averaging $5. Not many visitors contribute. If each visitor reading this right now gave $2, our fundraiser would be done by the time you finish reading this. That's right, the price of a large can of soda would do it.

If DeadFred is helpful to you, please take a moment to help us. We are a very small group of volunteers serving thousands of readers daily with very little outside support. DeadFred is a place to share and discover the faces of your ancestors. The funds we receive go toward maintaining and improving your chances of discovery. Please help us so we can continue to help you.

Thank you,
Joe Bott

Comments: Godfrey (Nee: ) | MO United States | 1851-1900 | Comments: This is a collage of 44 individual portraits that were trimmed, arranged, and then photographed and printed, circa 1867-69. Most of the individual pictures were probably taken in the early to mid 1860s, but some may have been taken as early as the 1850s. They are believed to have been taken in KY and MO. All of the individuals are almost certainly related to the photographer, and several have been identified. Surnames include Godfrey, Dalton, Ostick, Smith, Leech, Floyd, and possibly Williams, Brown and others. I am trying to identify all of them, and would like to exchange information with anyone who owns a copy of this or recognizes any of the individuals pictured.
