Dead Fred's Genealogy Photo Archive, a free, fun photo genealogy research web site devoted to helping you visualize your heritage!

Dear readers,

Please help us keep DeadFred alive. 90% of our expenses are supported by donations averaging $5. Not many visitors contribute. If each visitor reading this right now gave $2, our fundraiser would be done by the time you finish reading this. That's right, the price of a large can of soda would do it.

If DeadFred is helpful to you, please take a moment to help us. We are a very small group of volunteers serving thousands of readers daily with very little outside support. DeadFred is a place to share and discover the faces of your ancestors. The funds we receive go toward maintaining and improving your chances of discovery. Please help us so we can continue to help you.

Thank you,
Joe Bott

Comments: Russ Lovelace (Nee: ) | Long Beach CA United States | 1921-1940 | Comments: This is a photo booth snapshot. My grandfather and his friend both had these shots made of themselves. This photo was in my grandfather's possessions and he wrote "Russ Lovelace" on the back. My grandpa was in the navy for WWII and this is a shot taken while they were goofing around. There is another photo of the two of them together in what appears to be a fake scene set up as a joke: "Tia Juana Bar" My grandfather was honorably discharged from the navy on 9 Apr 1940 so this photo was taken on or before that day. I cannot locate a Russ Lovelace and worry that Russ is a nickname or Lovelace is actually Loveless or some other spelling. My grandfather was Willys G. Blount.
