Dead Fred's Genealogy Photo Archive, a free, fun photo genealogy research web site devoted to helping you visualize your heritage!

Dear readers,

Please help us keep DeadFred alive. 90% of our expenses are supported by donations averaging $5. Not many visitors contribute. If each visitor reading this right now gave $2, our fundraiser would be done by the time you finish reading this. That's right, the price of a large can of soda would do it.

If DeadFred is helpful to you, please take a moment to help us. We are a very small group of volunteers serving thousands of readers daily with very little outside support. DeadFred is a place to share and discover the faces of your ancestors. The funds we receive go toward maintaining and improving your chances of discovery. Please help us so we can continue to help you.

Thank you,
Joe Bott

Comments: Missouri Elizabeth Nettles (Nee: Parker) | Hampton VA USA | 1901-1920 | Comments: Missouri Elizabeth Parker born Mar 29, 1844 in Elizabeth City Cointy died Dec 01, 1916. Missouri's parents were James H Parker & Cathrine Nettles Parker. James killed Cathrine and then himself in 1854. Missouri was only 10 years old at the time. Death records listed suicide and murdered as the causes of death. The record also said that Catherine's mother was named Mary Nettles. Missouri lost half of her children one right after it was born in 1871, then she lost two more children in 1882 and had to bury two of her grown children and her husband before she died in 1916. She lived to be 72. Will be sweet to meet on that blessed shore all sorrow passed all pain forever over M.E.N.
