I recently started to post some of my own photo’s onto flickr.com hoping to connect and make some reunions. Little did I realize how many creative people are members there.  One in particular is Barty2008 who also goes by the name of Jan ( real name). Jan lives in England .   Here is a link to her Journal http://jan-jansjournal.blogspot.com/.  She’s made some beautiful crafts from some of my photos and I wanted you to see them .  She’s credited DeadFred.com for the images which is nice.  Jan doesn’t use anyones photos without permissions so this is also nice considering the plethora of images being “borrowed”  these day’s on the internet

I want to share a wonderful interview about  DeadFred recently conducted by Lisa Louise Cooke  . Lisa is the producer and host of the Genealogy Gems Podcast, an audio and video genealogy show   In addition, Lisa hosts the monthly Family Tree Magazine Podcast and videocasts for Family History Expos.   She is a national genealogy speaker, and author of the book Genealogy Gems: Ultimate Research Strategies as well as the Genealogy Gems News Blog.

I really enoyed talking to Lisa . She has a way of making one feel very relaxed and willing to talk talk talk  and make the talking fun!
