Amanda ShertzerJust wanted to let you know that while trying to remove about 10 THOUSAND spam submissions to our “Friends of Fred” membership form, I inadvertently removed some valid logins for Dead Fred users.

If you were one of the unlucky ones, I sincerely apologize. All emails have been restored to the login database - some with automatically generated new passwords. If you try to login with your old password and it doesn’t work, just click the “request password” link and you’ll receive the new password. You can change it to whatever you like once you login.

Again, I apologize. I blame the fact that it was late at night, I was angry at those nasty spammers, and had been up since 4am with my 2 kiddos (who are 2 1/2 and 9 months old).  =-)

Good luck to everyone in their continued genealogy searches. May you turn up gold today!
