Belle Newell is actually Anna Belle Newell - who was the sister to my g-grandmother, Lina (Newell) Guthrie. They lived in Woodward, Iowa - in Des Moines Township, Dallas County. Lina’s husband, William Scott Guthrie, was the treasurer for Dallas County, Des Moines Twp. She had 7 sibblings - and her parents were : Alexander Campbell Newell and Elizabeth Robbin
